I am not happy with the portal not working and they cant take my payment over the phone either. I work 11 hours a day and I am exhausted in the morning and I dont feel like I should have to get up even earlier than I do for work to make a payment before I go in to work.

I don’t have the time to go into the branch to make a payment. They seem to think it’s amusing that their online pay portal “won’t be back up”.

Then they come to my home to knock while I work from home and am on calls.

Almost as if they are serving a warrant. Fix your portal and you’ll be paid.

My account was charged off. I called to make a payment cause I recently went back to work and was behind. I made a payment of 400.00 to my account and the branch in Hartsville sc told me that they couldn't process the payment and they had to reverse

I have never had an issue with my local store. Recently I had an accident that put me out of work for 3 months and with inflation, the cost of utilities skyrocketing, and zero income, I began looking for options to save my credit rating and not default or have to file bankruptcy to save my possessions. I sought deferment of the past due amounts and my local store had no options to offer except constantly calling my phone wanting a payment. Waiting to see if corporate will offer an alternative to bankruptcy. Ill see how it works out and hopefully can update potential customers as to how they choose to keep a customer theyve had for many years.

User's recommendation: Read the entire contract on anything you sign your name to and think about the possibility that you could get hurt and not be able to meet your obligations. Ask about short term disability and deferment.

Wouldn't accept my card by phone or online. Have used the card for every payment. Not been declined anywhere else. Went to my banker he said the problem has to be with credit central.

As a valued customer who has always paid and who made it very clear that Ive gotten behind there is NO need to call people who are not a reference on my account. When I get on my feet I will pay this account. Harassing someone who cant do it right now only makes matters worse.

The branch in Clarksville that is totally awesome they just do their job everybody is so friendly I have no complaints. But being denied a loan increase because of a payment during the time that I had a heart attack it's really it's sad but okay I've been there I think at least a year and everyone is nice but corporate is not understanding but what can you do

I sent someone to credit central Arab ala they got approved for a loan and I was told I would get a referral bonus of 50 dollars and when I called to ask about it they said that they forgot to add it

I called Arab ala store told them I was referring dewey Henson and they said ok I asked if they was still doing referral bonus they said yes 50$ I said I was making sure she said yes ma'am if he gets approved and gets the loan then I would get 50$ when I called to check on my bonus they said they forgot to add it and there was nothing they can do now so now I can't get my money I did the whole thing by sending y'all a customer and they did not stick to their end that's not fair

They have been calling my wife for a few weeks now then they called her today she couldn't pick up because she was at work they tried to call while you are working knowing damn well you cannot pick up the phone at work. So they called me and I picked up and told them look you will have your money by the end of the day today and explain everything that was going on as far as a family situation that has been going on with my side of the family and then my wife's side of the family we've had two passings in the past 2 years and my grandmother is in the hospital and my grandfather has no vehicles on top of me having to sit here and work around that busy schedule of helping both families and trying to also work doing doordash because I lost my job because they laid me off. Then I went up to credit Central I tried to explain everything to one of the employees not manager not assistant manager because one of my friends that works there is an assistant manager which I will be reporting her sometime this week to him so he can report her to his boss on top of me calling corporate. I tried to explain to her the same thing that I explained to the other person that called my phone earlier today she had no sympathy she just kept going uh-huh yeah. She says to me and I quote if Mrs***** is going to be late she needs to call us cuz her payments due on the 3rd I said excuse me ma'am she works during the day and she can't pick up her phone and it says it's hard for her to contact you when she has to help her family all the time too along with me helping her along with her helping me help my family also. And then she got a little attitude and looked at me again and said and I quote well okay and if she is going to be late she needs to contact us and I looked at her again it's kind of hard for her too contact y'all when y'all have my phone number and I could talk to y'all a lot quicker than she can but even then it's hard for me to pick up my phone also. So after I had made the payment she slung the paper in the $3 that she was handing me back at me and had a smart *** attitude as she said have a good day. As I was walking out I said uh-huh yeah. So my best advice for everybody do not get a loan through them don't even think of calling them and try to avoid them as much as possible because apparently they don't give a crap about you your well-being or your family because after I told them that it made me start thinking what happens if my wife's in the hospital in critical condition are they still going to want their money. Probably so because they do not care about you so don't think they do when you first go in there if you decide to go and get a loan from this horrible *** place.

Harassment Techniques

Credit Central on Laurens Rd. Harassment Harassment Harassment. Bad company to borrow money from. Insane interest rate, poor customer service. Didn't believe it till it happened to me. I have had several loans with them over the course of about 5 years. Paid on time no problem. 1 month I got behind because work got slack. Called and told them I was going to be late (more then 10 days) making this months payment. First time being late in 5 years. The woman immediately gets nasty. Making rude comments about my financial situation. I was in shock. I couldn't believe it. So after that rude encounter which got nothing done. I thought it was over. I explained as soon as i got the money I would be in. At most another week. The very next day guess who is calling me at work? Credit Central. Asking me if I had figured out what I was going to do about my loan. Im thinking to myself " I just talked to you about 12 hours ago and told you what my plans where" but you call me the next day at work. So this is obviously just to harass and annoy me. Which is illegal in SC. Once again another nasty encounter and im off the phone. 3 days go by with no contact from them so I thinking maybe they are about to start treating me like a human. WRONG guess who is now making visits to my home? Credit Central !! tThis company specializes in trying to annoy people. When I get them paid off. Never again will I even think about doing business with them.
